mission

I have a mission for you, readers. One of my best friends has been looking for the perfect pair of shoes to go with her little black dress. But not just any shoes. (You ready for this?)
Electric blue, patent leather heels. Yes.
So I'm going to ask you to help us. (She didn't ask me to do this...but whatever.) You don't have to go looking but if you're ever in a shoe store (or just a store with shoes in it) could you look for some electric blue, patent leather heels. If you do by chance find some take a picture for me. If you have Facebook, send it to me there. (My email is MAJORLY malfunctioning.) Thanks so much!
Love,
Savvy

the new nest

Hello my people!
Sorry it's been so long since I posted! (I've just realized...that's always the first thing I say. I guess it's just because I'm such a BAD blogger. Hmm. We'll have to fix that.) So, I'm sitting in the our new house, drinking [sugar-free] cranberry juice and listening to "Everything You Ever Wanted" by Hawk Nelson {<3!!} and I was just thinking... what an I doing here? (At this computer, specifically) Posting on this blog. About the same old life. What is it all for? And will it actually benefit anyone by reading this blog? "Hmm...good question Savannah" I say to myself. Well, my friends, I've come to a conclusion. I've decided that even (and especially) if I go down the career path of my choice (Lord willing) I will continue to reach out to the people patient enough to follow it and express my passion for life and my first and only lover, Jesus Christ. So there.
And I'm not going to hold back from being myself...I'm just not going to post stupid stuff anymore. I will hopefully post more pictures...but my camera cord is in a box somewhere...
The next post I do will be about my career dreams! Yay! Now you have something to look forward to!...kinda.
The move went well and we're doing good...all under the same roof! Yay! Thank you for your prayers! I gotta go. I love you all and please keep reading!
Love in Christ,
Savannah
P.S. I applied for a job today at Monkey Joe's in Gastonia! Yay! Pray that works out please! <3 <3

Independence

Happy...er...5th, everybody! Sorry it's late but yesterday we took everything out of the garage, sorted it, re-packed it and then put it back. And I was really...not depressed...but kind of depressed. We didn't get to see any fireworks (and I L-O-V-E fireworks) and we worked all day instead of celebrating, but then my sister, Aimee, said something interesting that I hadn't thought of before. She said "The reason we're able to celebrate independence anyway is because of other people's hard work and sacrifice." and inside I was like "Wow. Ok. That's an excellent point." and then I felt like I had been so selfish. My thoughts before this were that we'd been packing all week and the one three day weekend my dad got off to come home...we had to spend all weekend packing and sorting and stuff. But that's what needed to be done. And it was NOTHING compared to the sacrifice of those who gave their very lives just for independence, and furthermore, the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. So therefore, it was an honor to take part in the hard work done on July fourth, even if it was just in the garage.
So, there you have it! I will post pictures soon of my trip to Albuquerque, New Mexico [last month] soon! - -;
Thanks for reading!
With love, through Christ, ALONE,
Savannah Catherine
P.S. And if you haven't been reading previous posts and don't know what were packing for; despite the economy, my Dad got an awesome job in the Charlotte area so he moved in with two single guys in February and has been living there since. We stayed here so my 2nd oldest sister Cait could graduate, and we could finish our plays (we're all in an AMAZING theatre group) and stuff. So we're moving in like three weeks. So, yeah. Just thought I'd clear that up.

It Was Worth It...

Greetings, people of earth!
So, I just wanted to update. Reformation Of Katherine was PHENOMENAL! God worked amazingly beautiful miracles through everyone in the play.
And also, about a week or two ago I bought myself a camera with my hard-earned babysitting money. She's beautiful! Except, the "starter battery" was a hoax and died after like two days. Ugh.
But I will have pictures soon!
And I'm SO excited that Cait's friend, Jamie Delaine Peterson, is coming from Canada to visit us! I'll tell more later!
Be blessed, my friends!
Love in Christ,
Savannah

Testing ... again.

Hey all!
I hope you're all doing great! Well, as some of you know... testing started today...ugh. Oh well. It's gonna be fun. I guess. It went pretty well today.
I just wanted to tell you that Ash moved on Sunday afternoon. She starts work Friday! She's getting settled and she's excited about what God's going to do in her life through this period where she doesn't live with parents...:D
So, that's all for now!
I'll talk to you all later.
Peace Mah Peeps.
Love in Christ,
Savvy <3

Esther - Chosen For Such A Time As This! (Aftermath)

Hello all!
Update on Esther - it went BEAUTIFULLY! God blessed us so much! The cast just really connected in last two weeks of rehearsals and we prayed SO MUCH! It was one of the best times I've ever had!
There were about 2,500 people in attendance! (if you add all the performances together)
God is so good!
And also I have some odd news. On Friday (the week before the play) we were at the mall (Mom and the sibs and I) and my ears had been popping all day and all of a sudden my right one wouldn't pop. It hurt. It was weird. So, it got worse and when we got home we tried everything we knew to do and it kept getting worse so Mom took me to the emergence at like 6:00am and it turns out my ear drum had actually burst because of the pressure from the ear-infection I didn't know I had. :/
So, I can't really hear out of my right ear (which was hard to sing with) but I think it was because God really wanted me to learn to trust Him and that I can't possibly do it without His help to perform this play.
So my ear drum is healing now, but I'm hearing things two-toned and it sounds like a bunch of robots.
God is good though.
The cast party was today. :D I love that cast so much and I was the first one to cry when we were sharing our testimonies. I was thanking the cast and crew for making my last play (because we're moving to Charlotte) so amazingly special. Oh my goodness. I'm going to cry now.
I'm ok.
Well, I love you all and thank you for supporting us if you did make it to the play!
To God be the glory for our victory!
In Christ ALONE,
Savvy :D
