Esther - Chosen For Such A Time As This! (Aftermath)

Hello all!
Update on Esther - it went BEAUTIFULLY! God blessed us so much! The cast just really connected in last two weeks of rehearsals and we prayed SO MUCH! It was one of the best times I've ever had!
There were about 2,500 people in attendance! (if you add all the performances together)
God is so good!
And also I have some odd news. On Friday (the week before the play) we were at the mall (Mom and the sibs and I) and my ears had been popping all day and all of a sudden my right one wouldn't pop. It hurt. It was weird. So, it got worse and when we got home we tried everything we knew to do and it kept getting worse so Mom took me to the emergence at like 6:00am and it turns out my ear drum had actually burst because of the pressure from the ear-infection I didn't know I had. :/
So, I can't really hear out of my right ear (which was hard to sing with) but I think it was because God really wanted me to learn to trust Him and that I can't possibly do it without His help to perform this play.
So my ear drum is healing now, but I'm hearing things two-toned and it sounds like a bunch of robots.
God is good though.
The cast party was today. :D I love that cast so much and I was the first one to cry when we were sharing our testimonies. I was thanking the cast and crew for making my last play (because we're moving to Charlotte) so amazingly special. Oh my goodness. I'm going to cry now.
I'm ok.
Well, I love you all and thank you for supporting us if you did make it to the play!
To God be the glory for our victory!

Savvy :D

Sick

Hey!
I just wanted to ask for prayer because I am sick...it's pretty bad...and Esther opens a week from tomorrow! I'm really excited, but I don't feel too well.
So pray for the production as well. It has potential to reach a LOT of people and we really need God's grace! It needs a lot of work! But God always comes through, so long as we trust in Him!
Thank you so much for your time!
God bless you all!
Love in Christ,
Savvy
P.S. Esther is at C3 Church in Clayton! Show times on Thursday and Friday (19th-20th) are both 7:30 (which means try to be there by 6:00 to get good seats) and saturday is at 11:00am! (so try to be there by 10:00 or something.)
Hope to see you all there! :D

A Pretty Amazing Day

Hey!
How are you all? I'm doing great. Today a group of people from my CYT class got together, split up in groups and then went around Clayton passing out Esther cards and putting up posters (with permission, I promise) in stores and stuff. It was totally fun!
In my van was Mrs. Walton, Ash (my oldest sister), Jeremy (Walton), Zach, David, Jamey, Laura, Karen, Aimee (my other older sister) and I. It was great! i hope a lot of people come to see the play!
So...also I have a prayer request. If you guys could pray for my two younger siblings...they're sick. Like sore throat and headache...and stuff...ick!
So prayer is good! Thanks in advance!
Love you all and hope to see you at Esther!

Savvy

Birthday

So...it's my 14th birthday. It snowed. It's superb. I wish I had a camera. :/
My Mom is in the kitchen making me a cheese bagel (my favorite) with an egg, two of my older sisters are in the dining room making me cards (they told me they were), my two younger siblings are outside running around in the snow...despite David's cold...hold on...gotta go eat my bagel!
...(oh my word!!!!! thank you, Lord for that amazing bagel!)
'Twas amazing! So, where was I? Oh! I remember! Mikayla and David just came in for breakfast, and I'm listening to the best Broadway showtunes! I ADORE showtunes!
So...basically...thank you Lord for a perfect birthday!
Love you all and have a wonderfully blessed day!
In Christ LONE,
Savannah
P.S. I'm gonna post a story I wrote last time it snowed (in January) so tell me what you think! :D

Perfection

I watch my feet walk through a fresh, crisp quilt of snow. I can feel the sting of the powder melt through my layers of my shoes. I listen for the soft crunch of snow collapsing under my weight. A cold wind cuts through the knit-holes of my mittens. I zip my thick, snowy-white coat all the way to the top and put my hands in the soft pockets. The ice that had attached to my jeans is now melted through onto my ankles, dragging a tingling sensation up into my leg. The snowflakes caught on my eyelashes now melt down onto my eyelids. My lips burn in the fragrant wind.
Now I approach the center of the field. I look up and slowly pull off my sunglasses, speechless.
A hot tear dances down my face, burning with intensity and leaving my cheek vulnerable to the icy blades of wind. The glittering array displayed before me is extraordinarily, incandescently and indescribably breathtaking.
Perfection.
